Android 2.3 Upgrade

[electron]

Hi Guys,
I am new to the forum and would like to ask if anyone has experience
of upgrading from 2.2 to 2.3 My creative Ziio 7 which I use for work
was upgraded from 2.1 to 2.2 The Creative.com site does not list 2.3
as an upgrade so does this mean the device is not compatible or
not supported. I need 2.3 to give me advanced settings in WiFi like my
HTC Wildfire as I need to connect to a proxy server. Many thanks

It looks like root has been achieved on it per [Q] Root Creative ZiiO 7" Android 2.2 - xda-developers you would need to root it to do anything about upgrading to GB. From what I can tell the specs should be enough to run GB but I couldn't find any roms for it and that would likely be the only way you can run GB on it.
