Help Android 2.3 wifi disconnects

Is anyone else experiencing WIFI disconnects particularly when using the new Market App.

Now that you mention it, yes. I thought it was my router because it craps out, but I do get disconnects. Slow speeds, etc. Will investigate.

same here but I did with 2.1 as well and also do on my htc hero no matter what android version I flash on it (2.1, 2.2, or 2.3). my ipad and macbook pro and xp computer all stay connected just fine, so it could be that my dlink router is dodgy with android devices. But it would be good to know if this is an OS issue or a router issue.

my hero connects and stays connected perfectly at my work (where I am now) but the shine is my wife's so she only ever uses wifi at home - hence the problem.

Yeah it happens from time to time. I find the wifi connects much quicker now, but it drops every so often.

I've found a wifi error sometimes - like when enabling wifi the checkbox in settings says "error" and refuses to toggle from then on until I reboot the phone. same time that ahppened it also stopped responding to the usb cable being connected (to sync with pc). rebooting, again, helped.

otherwise it's running pretty well now.

my Wifi has the error message too and it usually happens when I am in the middle of downloading something ( which is extremely annoying )

just another bug caused from the Gingerbread update that apparently LG support know nothing about

The Wifi drivers seems to be the root of two of the Gingerbread issues (Screen freeze + disconnect), will attempt to post a fix soon.
