Hey folks. I have a Sony Walkman with an Android OS. 2.3.4 Kernel 2.6.36.3.
Apparently this unit isn't going to get a 4.0 update..I try to update it, but it results in 'no updates available'.
I cannot seem to find any way to root it. I've tried many different methods, but none seem to work.
Here's my issue.... I want to connect to a VPN, but all android VPNs seem to require root if the droid is not updated to 4.0. ...So.. I want a vpn, but I need root. I cant root. sadness.jpg
I'm at a loss here.
Anyone else had this problem before? If so, did you find a fix?
