I am having a problem with my tablet's accelerometer. It is a noviTab 9.7" running ICS 4.0.3.
The problem is that the x and y values for the accelerometer are switched, so when I rotate the tablet along the x-axis, the values for y change; and when I rotate it along the y-axis, the values for x change. I have tested this with numerous accelerometer apps and gotten the same results, as well as tried it with the game Drop, which further proves the situation.
Does anybody know of a way to calibrate the accelerometer so that these values are swapped back to how they should be? Also, does anybody know of a calibration app that I could use that would be able to calibrate the accelerometer on the x and y axis? Alternatively, can anybody offer me a walkthrough as to how to modify the units code to invert the x/y axis?
