Not quite sure what the fuss about HTC quick settings. I just use Widgetsoid - free from market.
You can then choose whatever you want - I've got battery level, shortcut to sound settings, WiFi, GPS and data toggles.
I'll look into that, but I've always just used one of my homescreens as a utilities area with shortcuts and widgets to toggle settings.
Thought id check in to see whether my One X was missing any updates. Looks like it is, Orange branded though so no doubt I wont see my update till around November im guessing. Why do i continue to stick with these clowns?

Orange. Why do i continue to stick with these clowns?
Asked OrangeHelpers on twitter today about the update, but got the usual
"I'm afraid we dont have any information at the minute"
I did the same thing. I asked if they don't have any information why won't they find out the information. "I'm afraid we can't," came the reply. My reply "Can't or won't? No reason for the former so I'm guessing it is the latter" hasn't received a response.
Don't expect the Orange update any time soon... Just had another reply from them on Twitter:
"We get updates directly from the devices team the update is still being worked on they can't give us a date."
Still being worked on? What the hell are they doing to it?
