I know that the Galaxy Nexus will have gmail and a mail client. Can I do the following after I tie a gmail account to the phone:

1. Disable all syncing to gmail (calendar, contracts, and email)?
2. Disable and hide gmail?
3. Setup all my google accounts (IMAP) in the mail client?
4. Will these accounts push to the phone?
5. Disable google account calendar and contract syncing (I don't keep calendar and contracts in my gmail accounts)?
6 Setup my Exchange account (OWA) in the mail client?
7 Will my Exchange infomation be pushed to the phone?
8. Will my Exchange calendar and contracts be synced to the phone?
9. Setup other pop/IMAP accounts in the mail client?

I hope that Google will combine the gmail and mail clients into one client and release it at Google I/O 2012.

Yes to everything you said.

You can actually set up your Google account as Exchange in the mail client and it will push to your phone, which is more efficient, but you can use IMAP if you want.
