Root android 4.0 battery draining too fast.

Hi

I'm brand new to android phones. I brought a galaxy s that has been rooted and is running android 4.0.

The problem I have is that the battery is draining at a consistent rate weather I'm using it or its sitting in my pocket.

I've tried finding a fix but no luck. I have CPU spy. Its telling me that the phone is staying in 100hz even when phone is locked and doing nothing. I think I need a way to find out what is keeping it from going into deep sleep

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Does Easy Battery Saver display wakelocks? We should find out what the problem is before trying to fix the problem
