I have a Samsung Galasy S7392 with android 4.1.2. When seeting up an Exchange Active Sync (EAS), account, I do not have the option to sync the calendar. I only have the option to sync emails and contacts. If I setup a google account, the option to sync calendar is present.

I have already did a factory reset, and firstly setup EAS, but same issue, calendar sync option is missing.

I have tried my corporate account on Samsung Galaxy S2 and Samsung Galaxy Young wih Android 4.1.2, and calendar option is present.

Other corporate account on S7392, the issue is the same, no option to sync the calendar.

Any clue?

The calendar sync option on the phone refers to a sync with your Google account and only works with your Google account.

If you want to sync with something else like Outlook you will need a sync app - in your case, I believe Kies (the Samsung PC software that I guess came with your phone) handles it.

It is very strange that calendar sync is only available with google acconut.
I have tried on another Android devices and the calendar sync option is available for EAS.
I have tested my corporate account on Samsung Galaxy Young and Samsung Galaxy S2 with Android 4.1.2, and calendar sync is an option.

I have colleagues who have Android devices and the calendar is synced via EAS, without additional software.

I prefer sync with EAS instead of Kies. EAS syncs directly with the Exchange server and no need to have outlook or desktop running.

Samsung Galaxy S7392 is a dual-sim phone, can this be the difference for the calendar sync? It does not make sense, but I do know what to think...
