Android 4.4.3? (ITS OUT!! 6/2)

Never known any update to get rolled out over such a long period!

Surely they're aren't that many nexus devices FFS?

I'm using N5 on AT&T, who doesn't officially support the device. Will I get OTA update or do I have to update manually?

You will get OTA (assuming your device is stock). You can however choose to update manually without waiting for OTA

Imagine if apple did that with updates!

Googles way is better IMO. The first few days 1% of devices get the update. Google then monitors their support lines very closely for issues caused by the update. If unexpected issues are caused the update gets pulled.

If not, the update goes out to more and more devices.

Also, Google has always provided ways to update as soon as its released for the technological people that want the update right away. If you are so inclined - we can walk you though the process

So if I am rooted and have a custom recovery, will I need to undo all of that first or will it simply install over it, undoing the root and all?
I got a notice that an system update is available today, but wanna wait till I know for sure. Don't need a brick on my hands...

My 4.4.3 update came in yesterday afternoon. Nothing negative or positive to report yet. Contact icons without pictures, have appeared to change.

got the update yesterday and after one day of regular use on my nexus 5, battery life actually improved...so as of right now im happy with the update

Got my ota last night. I'm stock and rooted.
Today's usage of my n5 is like any other day. No noticeable difference in battery. Big difference was last night. Normally I lose 4 to 13% pct of my battery.7 hours on wifi only last night and only lost 1% which has never happened before.
