Android 4x - Question about folders

Hi guys,

I'm still on Android 2.3.4 with my Galaxy S2, but I would like to ask a question regarding Android 4x aka ICS.
I dislike the current folder structure because there are a lot of folders I don't use.
Does Android 4x give users at least the possibility to make folders invisible?
You install an app and it creates a folder and you cannot do anything but uninstall the app again.
Also, there are a lot of standard folders I don't use.
I did not root my cell phone and I did not install special apps that might use a different folder structure.
To be honest I prefer to have better basic software instead of installing plenty of apps in order to make my cell phone as it is.
When I buy a car I don't want to change all the parts...
I'd prefer that it is already fine (still there can be exceptions...)

I assume it's not possible.
I've seen that if you rename a folder from random folder name to .random folder name, it will be not shown in "My documents" anymore.
However, the app will not be able to find its data.
Would be nice if there was an option to check "hidden" in the folder properties so that you cannot see it anymore.
And a global option to enable/disable "show hidden folders".
Maybe it will be implemented in Android 8.0.6 Angry Bird.
