Root Android 5.0.x - Fix for no access to internal SD card

saltire

Android Expert
Thought I'd post this link here in case anyone experiences not being able to access the internal sd card after upgrading to LP 5.0.x (I haven't experienced it but seems a few have):

You need to be rooted, and have adb/fastboot on your pc to use this.

Or if you have a terminal emulator installed, type the commands in EarlyMon's post below.

(Credits to Mike1986 - this is purely a link to the post on his ARHD blog)

Mods - hope the credit statement is ok, and if it might be useful feel free to sticky, or copy into one of the sticky posts, or indeed consign to oblivion :)

Yep - if one doesn't already have Windows adb drivers sorted out for the M8, no need to go through the confusion just for this. :)

Pretty sure he mentioned that in the XDA thread, but if not - basically anything that you can do with adb shell, you can do with direct access to the shell via Terminal Emulator.

I use the heck out of it. :D
