I also received the 5.1 OTA. Is there a way to wipe the Cache without being Rooted?I got the 5.1 OTA and after that it was laggy. After wiping the cache partition through recovery it working much better. So, if you do get the OTA you very well might need to wipe the cache partition.
I believe that you can wipe /cache in the stock recovery (no root required).I also received the 5.1 OTA. Is there a way to wipe the Cache without being Rooted?
This will remove any temporary files that may be causing the problem, but will not delete your files or settings.
- With the phone powered off, press and hold the Volume Down button and the Power button at the same time until the device turns on.
You will see the word "Start" with an arrow around it.- Press the Volume Down button twice to highlight "Recovery mode"
- Press the Power button to restart into Recovery mode.
You'll see an image of an Android robot with a red exclamation mark and the words "No command."- While holding down the Power button, press the Volume Up button.
- Use the volume buttons to scroll to "wipe cache partition" and press the Power button to select it.
- "Reboot system now" will be highlighted, press the Power button to select it.
flashed the factory image and still getting lag performance issues.....WiFi problem is fixed. Thinking since I flashed doing a factory reset won't help anything.. Am I right? Any suggestions for the lag? Already wiped cache partition once.

BTW perhaps if your Lappy experiencing 100% cpu usage prolly it bcos the Pepperflash
disable that by type > aboutlugins > hit enter > click "+" to open details
disable flashplayer (1) - Pepperflash and use Normal flash only.
