Help Android 6 quick icons not changing after update. Help!

[skyborn77]

Hello,

I've just updated my Galaxy Note 4 from Android 4.0.4 to Android 6.0.1, model SM-N910C.

Everything was changed, new interface completelly, but the area where the quick icons appear (don't know how that area is called) didn't change to the new version.

See the screenshot below. That blue interface is version 4.0.4, the same one I had before updating to 6.0.1

I factory-resetted the phone, from scratch, and also re-installed version 6.0.1 again, but that blue quick icons interface is still showing instead of the new interface.

So, any ideas how I can fix this?

Thanks in advance!

I think they just didn't change it.

That's a manufacturer designed system toggle. Even the S7 has a similar design, just a different color scheme. It may just be Samsung didn't bother changing it. It's just going to be a bigger file with no useful changes if they change the color anyway.

As long as the actual useful parts of Android 6 work properly, it should be fine.
