Help Android 7.0, notifications not working

I updated to Android 7.0 two days ago on my 6p. Ever since downloading it, I have only gotten notifications from 2 apps. Messenger by Google, and Facebook messenger. The only way I get notifications from inbox, Gmail, hangouts, or anything else is opening the app every so often and they will appear 2 minutes after I open the app. I don't even receive calls on Duo or hangouts. Not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

Did u check settings in the systemui tuner menu since Notifications now are even more tunable ? Are all apps granted permissons?
