Based on your description I'm guessing that you have an Intempo ID Spirit Android tablet. Unfortunately if this is the case the tablet in question is a Chinese knockoff tablet. As such finding updates it not always easy. Usually they do not have good access to the Android Market so you would need to find a hack to add the market to the tablet.
