Android 8 airplane icon?

Newbie. New but older Moto 5 phone with Android 8. I see no airplane mode icon at top of my phone when I pull down from screen top. One google guy said to pull down twice or once using 2 fingers. That did expand the displayed icons to 6, but airplane mode is not one of the 6. Surely there are more of these icons than just 6. And airplane mode icon is still missing. How to display the rest of the icons?

what moto do you have? E5? G5? so if you swipe down from the top of the motification bar you should see a list of buttons to turn on or off. from there you should be able to swipe right or left....i think, but not sure on your phone to be able to scroll thru the rest of the icons.

You're right! A ton more than 6.

After you've pulled down as before, look for the little pencil icon:

Press it. You'll now have a plethora of icons to choose from. Just drag the ones you want up:

I did as y'all said. Found airplane but there a total of about 10 icons in edit mode - maybe not a plethora. MOTO E5 Play.

Really? My Moto Z² Force has 33!

I just took a better look at mine--some are there due to apps I've installed.

Thanks to all of you. Maybe my newish Moto just has fewer of those icons than my old phone. Old one had icons for sound, NFC, COLOR INVERSION. Old phone was LG Phoenix 2.
