Help Android 9.1

Hi all,

I've installed in my car multimedia with Android 9.1.

this is like act like regular phone!

In 1 line - I need workaround to control only the Media volume in every application in android 9.1.

the issue is when I've phone call its enter to the call app and I want to volume up or down - the android change the volume changer to the call volume and rising the numbers in call volume but nothing changed.

When I am changed from the settings the media volume during the call the volume indeed change.

So I need to disable the call volume from my android and control only the Media volume.

I've tried alot of apps - control only the Media volume, Rocker Locker, and more 3 apps that I've found in google but nothing works, the volume changing the call volume.

would help to know what head unit you have and what phone you are using

Also what is "Android 9.1"? Google stopped doing point releases after Android 8, i.e. the versions went 8.0, 8.1, 9.0, 10.0, 11.0, and there is no such thing as "Android 9.1".

Wow... what I can do?
Here is my system information

I took scrennshot from another application because I using android in another language.

When I use android auto I control the media volume and everything is ok.

When I have a call I can control only call volume, but I need to control the media volume because my speakers response only to the media volume.

do you know some workaround to control only the media volume ??

sorry but its hard to know how to fix this with out knowing what devices you have. it seems like these are off brand devices which has zero support and is hard to research a fix for you.

I've got the same kinda issue sorta... I've got a galaxy j3 I believe... how do I get rid of the 9.1 b.s

as stated by @Hadron there is no 9.1 can you post a screen shot of your "about phone" with the android version in it?

Other app info sometimes itll state 'product of android version 9 or sometimes android version 9.1' I'll try to catch a screenshot when I catch it again

yeah that one says 9 so its not 9.1.

and what "bs" are you talking about? is it just the number? or some system app?

I'll try to screenshot it all when digging into it again. Probably later today as I'm alil busy with my son atm lol

Also can you tell me if all these apps/system apps are normal ? Some of them are kinda weird 😅😓
