android alarm keeps reverting back to default tone.

My android phone doesn't saved my preference alarm tone, it keeps reverting back to default "Ringing Alarm" sound. Please help and thanks in advance!!
 
This has happened to me too. All of a sudden it stops seeing the ringtones on the sd card. It must be a bug with sd mounting, because I know the sd was mounted when it happened.

I guess you could work around it by selecting one from the default list of tones, but I'm not sure how to fix the issue. I think I've had temporary luck by unmounting and remounting the sd, but it happened again later.
 
I also tried "rooster alarm" which was built in the phone, but yeah, nothing can be saved as alarm tone. this problem is driving me nuts!
