Does anyone know if there is a way to use the analog stick on a paired gamepad? I know you can pair gamepads with analog sticks but is there any way to actually use the analog stick and not map it to buttons and use it like a d-pad? For example, in smash bros for the n64oid, you need the analog stick to walk/run or do up tilts. If you don't have an analog stick, you'll keep running and and jumping/up smashing when trying to do an up tilt. The analog stick allows intermediate movements that the d pad doesn't allow. I can't really find this in forums and can't tell if the analog stick is working in youtube videos.
Is the virtual analog stick the only way to use an analog stick? If it is, I was thinking about buying the joystick-it on thinkgeek.com. It says its for iphone but it also says it should work for android. Does anyone know if this works well? Also theres the fling mini by ten one. Is that good and does anyone know if it fits on the htc evo shift since the suctions cups stick out?
Thanks
