android and wires repeater

My wireless network is now extended with a repeater.

It works fine with a windows7 PC, I can switch between the basic WLAN and the the repeater Wlan without any problem.

My Samsung Galaxy with the latest Android however does not connect to the reater Wlan, although it does recognise the signal. It seems to be an Andoid problem

Anybody know a solution to this problem?

What kind of security do you have enabled on the repeater lan? Have you tried temporarily removing the security on the repeater wlan to see if the phone will connect and function properly?
