android APK conversion question question.

ok. sorry that was in poor taste.

first. if this is in the wrong section say so and change it, or get me to change it.

second, i know what i want to do could be considered illegal, so if it is, just close this thread and warn me about my activity

anyway, so i recently discovered a couple of old Java mobile games which i had pretty much been searching for for a long time. one of those java games has a shiny version 2 on the marketplace, but my phone just isnt beefy enough to run it, so i would like to find a way to run the jar on my phone. (yes, i illegaly dl'd the jar. had they given me the option to pay for it, i most certianly would have (rumour is thay are porting it to android ))

so i have tried using get APK, a website, but after 2 days its just too slow

running android 2.3.4

i have also tried using some android java emulators, JBED and J2MES. neither of which work (J2mes appears to not do what it supposed to do, and JBED just crashes constantly)

i have not rooted my phone. many times have i tried and failed. it would also appear that no matter what i want to do to my phone, i just cant.

i am also even more disheartened as my favourite game on my phone (3D space game) was encounter ing a sound bug, so i delete it, only to find it had been removed from the google play store so even more dissapointment

Since you've openly admitted illegally downloading the source files, there's nothing we can do to assist unfortunately.

Your best bet is to hope that the games in question come to Android and/or are eventually compatible with your handset. Alternatively, there might be decent equivalents available.

As above, we can't really help with anything illegal so I'll lock this thread, please drop me a PM if you've issues with that, or would like to discuss this further.
