Android Question

A Verizon sales person wrote down the name of a program or app the he claimed would pull everything off of my Samsung Gal 5 which is acting very strange.

I purchased a new phone and own my Samsung but for whatever reason everything that is on the Samsung did not transfer over to my new LG Stylo 2. In a way I'm okay with that because all replacement Galaxy's under warranty eventually had the same problems. I'm so worn out attempting to resolve the issues with the Samsung I began to wonder if the transfer of data from the bad phone to the replacement phone didn't include a bug of some sort. When I purchased the LG I changed my email account which I'm sure is the reason that certain things did not move over to the new phone. The Cloud stuff is puzzling however.

If I turn the Galaxy on in my home via wifi I get a quick glimpse at the cloud and see many messages, photo's and video's that are not on the new phone. In a few minutes Verizon shuts me out I suppose because there is no phone number associated with that phone anymore; however the old sim card is still in it.

Back to the program that the Verizon sales person told me about ( I lost the paper with the programs name ) In any event, if I recall correctly the program downloads to one's computer and when you usb connect the phone and computer the program will pull everything off. He really emphasized EVERYTHING when I asked him about the stuff in the cloud.

I thought the name was phone doctor or something like that but searches for that name do not bring up the program I found when I first looked it up. Unfortunately I did not bookmark it and my history is cleared daily.

Does this program sound familiar to anyone and if so can you tell me if in fact this will pull everything from the cloud?

I was about 10 days left on the extended warranty on the Galaxy from Sq Trade and I'd like to get it fixed so I can resell it since the last replacement phone is less than one year old and the phone looks new.

Any other suggestions are welcome also. And if this is the wrong place to post this then please advise me where I should post.

Thanks
