Android apps

Just bought a HTC desire and started to install some apps.
Any recommendations for good sites for Android apps?
The ones I've looked at so far have lots of apps but don't seem to good search facilities to find what I am looking for.

Hello Gerry.

The Market app in your device's app drawer is a great way to search for apps, by category, or just a cold search using the little magnifying glass icon in Market at the upper right of the Market home screen.

Online, AppBrain Android Market - Download the best Android Apps and Games is a popular app resource for Android users.

AppBrain is great. Either online or download the AppBrain app to your phone. You can organize by popular now, popular all time, popular by different demographics, etc
