Android Arabic Support

Dear All:
I am developing a mobile application for Google Android.

I would like to know if android supports Arabic language. If yes, how?
Is it possible to do Arabic localization? If yes how?
Are there any libraries on Eclipse that directly support Arabic letters?!

android, as of now, doesn't support arabic language (it is the most requested feature though)
