I'm doing a research paper on Android for my Design of Operating Systems class, and I'm having a little trouble finding information on the architecture of Android. The only sources with a good amount of information that I've been able to find so far are Wikipedia and Google IO videos, which aren't quite enough to write a paper from. I was wondering if anybody here knows where I can find more information the the Android architecture.
In particular, I'm looking for information the Android kernel (which is based on the linux kernel) and Android's Dalvik Virtual Machine, which it uses to run all of its applications.
Thanks for any help!
