Android Atrix

Hi,

Just introducing myself. I have an Android Atrix HD that I just got and Am totally ******ed as to how it works!! It's so different from the iphone!! My first question(one of many),
is why when I hit the Browser button, the screen is totally blank?

Also I keep getting these notification reminders up on the system bar? What in the world is this?
I am sure I screwed something(s) up.

Any suggestions?
