Android Auto won't auto launch

Hello , when my phone connects to Bluetooth in the car it is no longer auto launching and I receive the below error. This is phone only, no head unit.

Error:. Background activity start from com.google.android.projection.gearhead blocked

Is there a way to turn it off for just Android auto or do I have to wait until the app is updated?

I am on q3 build

Looks like the q beta 4 fixes it. It's working for me now
