I have a Lava Iris 405 that runs on Jelly Bean 4.1.2. The issue is with the battery stat. When I put the phone on charging, it suddenly jumps from for example 15% to 30% and then if I turn off the charger, it comes back to 15%. My phone also loses battery significantly on reboot. Sometimes, the battery level increases on reboot.
Sometimes, the battery jumps from 80% to 100% in 1 minute and when I use the phone, it loses 8 to 10% in a minute. If I put something on download, then sometime, it takes a lot of time to charge. I tried using factory data reset, but it didn't fix the issue.
Few months back when I phone was in warranty, I took it to service center where they flashed the rom again and gave me new battery. It temporarily fixed the issue. I use very basic apps and have no games installed on my phone. Is this some battery issue or the battery stat has messed up? Any fix to the issue?
