I am in the market to purchasing an Android phone (DELL STREAK) in the next couple of days. This issue I am having is delaying my decision.
This issue occurred using Android froyo 2.2 , on a Dell Streak, Nexus one, and a Galaxy S tab.
I have an issue when I am trying to access my work page through my VPN Web access... I can get into my VPN just fine.
When I try to access the web program to do my work, it opens up in a pop up window. I am able to see a list of new cases and ones I have already worked on. So far up to this, it works fine.
The problem is, when I select a case from this pop up window, it tries to open another pop up. This is when I am greeted with an Error saying" you cannot open another popup only one popup allowed"
I made sure the browser allows popups. I also tried Dolphin, and was greeted with the same error.
I also installed opera 5.1. I can log into the VPN. When I try to open up the Web program, it just stays on that screen.. No new window opens. I looked in settings to allow popups, but there isn't a popup toggle in opera settings.
Hopefully, I have not confused anyone.
My main Goal is to have the freedom to work, without being tied to a computer/laptop. Android has gotten me this far, it will be funny if I am stuck at a silly popup issue.
I am hoping this forum will be able to shed light to this situation.
