Android Calendar app HELP!!!!

I have just downloaded the Smooth Calendar app as my new fone wont sync with google calendar for some reason.........the app installed but when i click on it it just says thanks for installing smooth calendar and a load of other giberish - how do i open the calendar to start using it????

ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!

Smooth Calendar is not a calendar in itself; it's a way of viewing your main calendar so when you open it you should get a lot of menu choices to tailor it to your needs e.g "Calendar Application - select which calendar application to use" which will open your apps list allowing you to choose your calendar. If you are not going to use your Google calendar you need to choose another calendar app as your main calendar.

If you are not getting these menu options then it may be that it hasn't installed properly; try uninstalling and then re-installing.

...or uninstall it and use Jorte. It's my personal favorite - very customizable with many widget options, and I can not only sync my calendar, but all my shared calendars (such as my husband's and my son's calendars.
