Android calendar application?

Hi. I just bought a droid today and my only complaint is that the calendar doesn't actually ring and remind me of my event. My work schedule is different every week so I need an application that I can punch my new schedule in for each day and actually be reminded or waken up with an actual ringtone or alert. If someone can help me with this I will truly appreciate it. Thank you!

Just open the calendar and hit your menu button. Under "more" you should see "settings". When that screen opens, there should be options for notifications.

I find it easier to edit my appointments and settings using Google Calendar on my desktop. Then I set the kind of notifications I want right from there.

Details would really help. Are you actually setting reminders for these calendar entries? Have you set the notification for your calendar?

1. Open your google calendar on your browser and set up reminders there for each event or open your calendar on your droid and do it there

Then on your calendar on your phone press menu -> more -> settings

There you can set your ringtone and default reminder time

If you need a better ringtone for your calendar alerts use Ringdroid to make whatever alert sound you want and then save it as a notification.

I made a minimalist weekly work schedule app that may work for you.

It's called Quick Scheduler
