Android Connection Problem

My zte zmax pro z981 not being recognized by iTunes and W10 File Explorer. Device Manager shows as "USB Mass Storage Device". I may have caused this problem when trying to get the phone properly ID'd. Originally it would should up in Device Manager only, with a phone icon and the two memories in it.
I need to load music from my pc to zmax pro but not able to.

First, iTunes doesn't recognise Android device's as far as I know. Second, when it asked what mode would you like to use (MTP, charge only,etc) tap the "install driver" option, it's gonna come up as a drive, it will be like around 15mb. Install the driver, disconnect the phone,plug it back in,then switch the USB mode to mtp
