Android connectivity sharing

Android phone 3G <> PC <> Android tablet

I'm very happy that my pc will tether connect through my android phone but I wanted to clarify a stage further. That is to say I am considering buying an ARCHOS 80 G9 tablet and wondered (maybe a silly question) will I be able to plug it into the pc (win7) and take advantage of the pc's net connection that is coming from the android phone.

I'd like to assume the network will share through and through but in a couple of days I will buy the tablet IF this will work.

At times I might connect via a winXP pc too.

Will it all be plain sailing or complex or not possible ?

fyi I have found the tablet at pcworld for

117 views, no one has tried this or knows if it possible ?
currently with how things are set for me, I won't be purchasing the tablet unless I know it can work.

Problem solved... I think. connected pc now via wifi.

surprised no one here knows this is maybe possible !

Simply enable Portable wifi hotspot and try connecting. Worked first time for me so I have set a password and now I am running via that from pc, instead of tether/usb

so its easy to assume the tablet will connect the same way !
