Android Cut-Off

Hey everyone.
I bought my son a phone. It is on a 29 dollar plan and he gets 180 dollars worth of value back a month with 200mb of data. He has an android phone. Can I make it so that if he uses all of the 180 dollars his phone will decline outgoing calls and text and data?

Possibly for free?

Thanks so much

-Jeremy

I don't quite understand the $180 a month of value thing.
I have never known an Android device to know how many minutes it's used or how much data it has transferred without an app.

To me this sounds like you need to ask the carrier if they can do it on their end, I don't think the device can do it.

What phone is it and what carrier?
You have aroused my curiosity.
Is this a prepaid plan of some kind?

Agreed, more info needed. If you are on T-Mo, you can set up parental controls and limit anything u want, you can even keep him from calling specific people

You'd really need a carrier-based solution unless the app is not only aware of usage but the various usage rates given that the $180 limit is stated as a requirement. 200MB isn't much data for an Android device in my experience.
