Android Default Music App

Hey guys, I just want to ask if there is a way to get the default music app of Android since my phone didn't have it because it came with Google Play Music out of the box. I need because many widget creating apps usually can only use the default music app of android.

I'm using Shuttle+ (You can also get the free version which doesn't have folder browsing) and it's a great replacement for the default or GPM. It's simple, light-weight and highly customizable.

@Jhayzone Just so you know, the above posters aren't just throwing out random players because they think you should use them instead... With I believe KitKat, Google stopped including what had been the stock Android Music app in favor of Google Play Music. For all intents and purposes, that is the default music app now.

What you're after may be the Music app from the Android Open Source Project - you can find the source for it here, and a compiled version here. No guarantees that it will work on your current phone though. :D

Thanks for the reply guys but what I was talking about was what codesplice pointed out.

That was weird though since my other phone have it. Both android 4.4.2. I guess it depends on the manufacturer.

I may be wrong, but I think on phones that had the old player it wasn't removed with updates, but phones that came with Play Music out of the box it wasn't included.
