Android Device Manager problem after changed board

Hello! So, apparently I have a problem... Here's what happened.

Around a month ago, I returned my HTC One M7 to the shop I bough it from, cause it wouldn't turn on. (Something a lot of people have a problem with, I learned later.) I got it back yesterday, with changed motherboard.

Today I tried to find my phone with Device Manager, and... learned that I cannot. The problem is that it sees my phone like... two phones. I cannot delete my "old" device, since it has to be online, and I cannot add my "new" one.. The app can't find even my "new" one... It's really getting on my nerves!

Any ideas as how to fix the problem?

Hello and welcome, @vkolova :)

I don't know if it will help, but have you tried removing and readding your Google account to the device? (Settings > Accounts > Google, I believe). In theory that should get your Google info updated with the device's new identifier.

Let us know how it goes. :)

I just did it. It certainly did not help. ;//

I even revoked the access to my "old" device from my Google account - still nothing.

Drat, I was really hoping that would work.

About the only other thing that I could suggest would be performing a Factory Reset. :(
