Android email app

I have a Galaxy S2 running the latest firmware and I am having an issue with the way the default email app works and cannot seem to find a work around.

I have 3 accounts setup (gmail, gmail apps, exchange) and I would like to know if there is a way to show only the gmail accounts in the combined mailbox.

In addition is there a way to show only the number of unread messages in the gmail accounts that the email widget shows on the home screen?

Basically what I want is only notifications and email to be displayed for gmail resources. I only want to see unread messages and notifications when I access the exchange account directly. Basically the exchange side should be out of site out of mind.

put the Gmail accounts on the Gmail app, and activate notifications for that. Leave the exchange account on the default email app then deactivate notifications for that.
