Is there a way to bypass the incoming mail settings when creating a new account in Android email?
I have about six email accounts that all forward into a single account. I want to create those accounts in Android so I can answer from them, but I don't want to set up any incoming info for any of them. (In fact, I don't even have incoming settings for several of them.)
In other programs (Outlook, iPad, etc.), I can do this by creating a POP3 account without any incoming settings. Can this be done in Android? Android doesn't seem to let me move on to the SMTP settings until it validates the POP/IMAP settings.
