Hi,
I recently switched over to an Android smart phone from an old Sony Ericsson handset so I am new to all this.
On my phone there is an Android mail app that lets me access my Outlook/Hotmail account and pushes all new emails to my phone as soon as they arrive.
When I first set this up I received an Email from Orange Mobile Mail stating that I had started a 14 day trial. However recently the Mail app has seemed to stopped working as is not pushing mail to my phone anymore. The email accounts just say 'Idle' even when I manually request to check mail.
I have done a factory reset on my phone (HTC Wildfire) and set up the Mail App again and I have received the same Email from orange about the trial.
My question is - Is this Orange Mobile Mail service required for me to access my email accounts even though they are Outlook/Gmail? Is there a different way to do it?
I am a pay monthly customer and am not sure whether this service is included. What will be likely cost of signing up to this service?
Any advice/suggestions appreciated
Cheers
