The default Android Emulator I'm using stopped playing sounds today. What can I do to find the root of the problem? So far I've tried destroying my virtual device, making new ones with different API's but no luck. It's not just my app, but all sounds are muted including YouTube videos. The volume is on and set to maximum on the virtual device.
Is there a setting to see if the emulator is outputting sound to the correct audio device on my computer? I couldn't find any useful settings on the AVD.
I'm using the following version of Android Studio
Android Studio 2.3
Build #AI-162.3764568, built on February 24, 2017
JRE: 1.8.0_112-release-b06 amd64
JVM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM by JetBrains s.r.o
OS: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
