Android File Encryption app

I like using microsoft word so what I do is constantly move word files back and forth from my phone and use it as a usb storage. How can I encrypt these word files on my android phone? How can I encrypt them so I can view them on my phone as well as a computer with entering a password? Are there any apps you can recommend?

Ok I just tried the app out, not very great. I encrypted a file on my phone, so now Its locked on my phone, but Im still able to view the word document without entering a password? Defeats the purpose Id say.

When you encrypt a file, it leaves the original file and create a new file that is encrypted. Either you have to delete the original file or move it someplace else, like the cloud or where ever you store backups.
If you look in the folder, you should see both files, the original and the encrypted file.

How do I download the app to my pc? It doesnt give me the option? Just shows my phone name where its already installed but thats it.

Oh Im not using Linix Im running windows... would you know of any apps that use windows instead of linux for decryption?

Figured it out but the computer app is worthless. It throws the file after you decrypt it in some weird place - User-user1 - appdata - local- - temp. Wish there was a way to change the location but there isnt...
