Android Flip Phones

I did a search recently and found that there are a couple flip-phone models but they run ancient versions of Android, have low-spec hardware, etc.

I love the flip phone concept. I don't know why these advantages are meaningless to other people but they're extremely important to me.
- The buttons and screen are protected from the other stuff in my pocket
- There is no chance of ever butt-dialing
- I can answer or end a call simply by flipping it open and closed.

However, the classic portrait-orientation numpad flip phone format is not optimal for smartphones. There is another option. This would be the perfect format for an Android flip phone:

That's the Samsung Alias 2, a dumbphone that flips both ways. Flip it portrait, a subset of the keys are numeric by default. Flip it horizontal and it's qwerty by default. The screen rotates to match the direction you flipped it.

It's an observation I've had, mainland Chinese businessmen will often use flip-phones, sometimes see the occasional Vertu. They're not doing anything particularly "smart" with them, apart from making phone calls and messaging. All their business details, contacts, addresses, orders, transactions, etc, are more often or not are kept in a Filofax or a notebook.
