Android Forums app not working right

I just sign up for these Forums and they work perfectly in my browser, but the app wont load pages half the time when you click a link. Keeps taking me to the page that list all the different topics.

That's the one. For example if I go from the Browse screen to Android Tablets/Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 / Official Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 User Manual thread and click any of the hotlinks it takes me back to the Browse page I started from. When I go to the same place in Chrome there's a button to download the pdf which isn't even there in the app.

The back button thing is a Tapatalk bug afaik. It's been fixed in later versions of the app so we just need ours to catch up.

The app is just a complete afterthought imo (no offence to the devs, I'm sure they're busy with other things) but imo the app needs rebuilt from the ground up.
I've tried using browser but I feel much more at home with the app (even with its faults)
I'd happily pay at least £5 for a premium ad free bug free version (plus I'm a premium member) (although I did win that lol)
