Help Android forums app problems

Can someone tell me how to start a new thread in the Android Firums app? I had to use the website to start this thread.

Is that the top of your screen from the forums main page or from a postable forum thread list?

Its from a thread.

In a thread, hit either the 3 dot menu icon at the top or your phone's menu button if it has one and hit "reply"

I see the reply button but isnt that just to respond to the last post in the thread?

AFAIK you can't start a new thread while inside another thread. You have to be in the postable forun part.

well all the bar at the top of a thread list shows is a refresh button

If you are inside a thread, you can't make a new thread. You need to be in the forum part. Don't go in a thread if you want to make a new one. It might be better if we show pictures, but I use Tapatalk app for the forums so not sure if it would be the same.

That's a thread list not a thread.
