why is that when you view one of your private mesages in the forum you can never view it again? it's like the message disappears after that...

You can view it again. Click User CP (The box right under where it says Carriers Manufacturers Phones...)
Then in the column on the left scroll down to where it says Private Messages and click inbox or sent messages
Then in the column on the left scroll down to where it says Private Messages and click inbox or sent messages
Or you can just click where it says:

You last visited: Today at xx:xx AM
Private Messages: Unread 0, Total 286.
Top right hand of screen. If you have any notifications it will show instead of the link to private messages.
