Hi. Is it ok to root my phone using the android galaxy y(Not the duos) superuseroneclick rooting app? I want to root my phone but i cant see an effective tutorial on how. I found some but there are many complaints that its not working so i didnt follow it. Is superuseroneclick safe to use in galaxy y duos? any success stories?

I have moved this thread into the Y Duos root forum so you can get some better assistance.
If anything I would not try a Rooting strategy that is not validated for your device as it could cause major problems and lead to a bricked device.

The reason i just want to root my phone was that I am not able to see the database using the ddms in eclipse. I think its restricted. I am developing application right now so i have to see if there is a problem in my device database.. Thanks.. I think ill just stick to emulator..
