Help Android Haptic Feedback in Galaxy Light?

I can't seem to find an option to turn haptic feedback on or off on my wife's Galaxy Light. It works on Swiftkey during typing, but she'd like to have some feedback when pressing the back/menu keys on the bottom of the phone.

This seems like a fairly simple issue... do I really need to wait for CM or other custom ROM to get this working, or is there a build.prop tweak that I can do once I root?

I am not sure haptic feedback is supported at all, I am also not able to find any setting for on/off haptic feedback for keyboard/back/menu keys

however you said that vibration on touch is working with swift keyboard - can you please let me know how to enable it ( since this is also not working for me )

I use Swiftkey, and haptic feedback works just fine (as do other apps). You just need to go into the app settings and enable them (Settings - Sound and Vibration).

I don't think there's a system-wide setting (that I know of). Various apps will have that feature. I get haptic with things like keyboards, hidden panels (swipe panel), OneClick Scroll, etc.
Depends on the app I guess.

If the phone is rooted, and you haven't already, install the Xposed framework and the Xposed Additions module. There's an option to enable haptic feedback to any of the buttons (including the capacitive menu/back buttons).
