i have 3 home launchers sony ericsson home , adw launcher and helix launcher so lets say if im using helix launcher as home default does other 2 launcher uses display memory also to drain battery? do they run at background? is it good to have 3 homes? im on fw 026 and rooted and i wana get most out of my battery.

I've heard that if you have widgets on the other homes it might affect battery. Not sure though. I just run ADW and it's nearly perfect, except a bit slow IMO.

All I know is that I use ADW all the time, but it was laggy.

Fixed it by switching back to stock home and deleting the widgets, seems to work wonders for me.
