Help android hook up to older tv

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to hook up the OTT TV BOX to an older tv that does not have an HDMI input ? I am using the AV output with the the RCA tv hook up but what I get is the tv screen to running.
Any suggestions ?

You're not getting a picture on the TV from it, is it rolling like the vertical hold is out? Check the NTSC/ PAL options, if it's got them. Although some of things can be PAL only(no NTSC in China), and you might have an NTSC only TV.

Yes it's rolling. This is an older tv set ( Toshiba tube 32" ) I am connecting the AV otto box out to one of the tv video in as per the otto box manual and there's nothing I can do to stop the tv rolling.
