Android ICS search contacts

I recently upgraded my Samsung Galaxy S2 to ICS. I use google contacts to manage my phone numbers and I have my contacts set to only display contacts with phone numbers when I view my contacts.

However, why I start a search on my contacts it searches everything on my phone. It searched my sim, all email addresses, everything. I only want to search for contacts with phone numbers in my Google contacts.

Is there any way to change this. As far as I can remember this wasn't an issue before I upgraded.

Thanks in advance

There's a setting in Contacts>Menu>More>Settings>Display

There is a tick box in Contacts>Menu>Settings which says 'only display contacts with phone numbers' and I have this ticked as I only want phone numbers to appear in my contacts. My issue is when I search my contacts, it searches everything. I can't seem to filter the search of my contacts

Under there, there is also a setting for contacts to display. I turned off SIM contacts and several groups from my Emails there. You need to have your phone contacts arranged to a specific group in Gmail if you want to separate them from displaying.

I have the same problem after upgrading to ICS. I want to do the search on my Exchange contacts. The phone, gmail and SIM contact should be hidden.
I go to Contacts>Menu>More>Settings>Display and tag on display Exchange contacts only.
After searching again all the contacts (phone, SIM, gmail) show again.

Any idea would be welcome.
